The Concrete Alliance, Inc. is a non-profit consortium of skilled union craftsmen and union contractors. Our mission is to improve public awareness of the superior safety and strength of cast-in-place reinforced concrete.
The Concrete Alliance website originated from the idea that the public will now have a voice to demand cast-in-place reinforced concrete as the material of a safer choice. The goal of the Concrete Alliance is to educate politicians, developers, architects, engineers, insurers, and the general public about the safety benefits that a cast-in-place reinforced concrete building offers. A cast-in-place reinforced concrete structure has long been recognized for its unsurpassed strength and fire safety. Reinforced concrete is the only material of choice for protecting people and equipment, especially with the daily threat of terrorist attacks. The terminology of a cast-in-place reinforced concrete core is repeatedly sited by distinguished members of building code committees and structural safety studies as the key ingredient to improve fire evacuation and rescue. Nevertheless, the best solution incorporates a concrete core within a cast in place reinforce concrete structure.
